“Powerful stuff - disturbing and dramatic.
Allow this story to grab hold
and it may not let you go!”

KEVIN CROSSLEY-HOLLAND

Stonewylde Book CoversThe Stonewylde Series is a collection of five books in an untapped genre – contemporary fiction set in an authentic pagan context. The series has wide crossover appeal, spanning the young teen to senior adult market (see reviews) and is enjoyed by males and females alike. There are elements of fantasy, cultism, ecological and philosophical issues within the story, but it is so much more than that, which is why the series has such broad general appeal.

The story moves at a cracking pace with plenty of drama and action. An amazing cast of characters, gradually introduced throughout the five books, and the stunning backdrop of rural Dorset weave together into a tale of passion, mystery and a brutal power struggle. Beautifully descriptive passages and convincing characters draw the reader into the realistic but magical world of Stonewylde. Disbelief is quickly suspended; these books linger in the imagination long after the final page is turned. Stonewylde becomes a place as real as Narnia, Hogwarts or Middle Earth.

The first three titles in the series, Magus of Stonewylde, Moondance of Stonewylde and Solstice at Stonewylde are now in print and selling in increasing volume as word of mouth recommendation spreads, and the 2008 marketing and promotion campaign gets underway. The fourth title, Shadows at Stonewylde, is written already, and the author Kit Berry is currently working on the final book in the series, Serpent of Stonewylde. It is anticipated that once the books become nationally popular, the film rights will be sought after, as the story has such immense visual appeal and a truly unique plot. Moongazy Publishing visited the BookExpo America in New York in June 2007 to negotiate rights for the US market, and other world rights are expected to be discussed in forthcoming months.
